Arrow Valley institute of Technology and its subsidiaries enjoy an excellent reputation for the high quality of their teaching and research. The Strategic Plan 2015-2018 places at the heart of its vision acknowledgement of the institute’s excellence in academic achievement. Its first aim is “to maintain and enhance the academic excellence of the institute.”
Within the governance structure of the academy, the governing Council has responsibility, on behalf of the Board of directors, for the determination of academic strategy and policy and for the discharge of academic affairs. The governing Council is chaired by the CEO and consists of the eight Heads of departments and the head of the School of Advanced Study. The Governing Council is supported in this by the Academic Quality Advisory Committee (AQAC), which undertakes and submits to the Council the annual quality overview report. The Committee also promotes quality enhancement and shares good academic practice across the institute.
